Commands Of Jesus From Matthew

Study the commands of Jesus as written in the book of Matthew, from The King James Version of the Holy Bible.

  • According to your faith be it unto you.
  • After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
  • Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him
  • all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them
  • And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
  • Arise, and be not afraid.
  • Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
  • Ask
  • Behold the fowls of the air
  • Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
  • be it unto thee even as thou wilt
  • be not afraid
  • Be of good cheer
  • be thou clean
  • Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
  • Beware of false prophets
  • bless them that curse you
  • bring him hither to me.
  • Bring them hither to me.
  • cast out the beam out of thine own eye
  • Come.
  • Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden
  • Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow
  • Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.
  • depart from me, ye that work iniquity
  • do good to them that hate you
  • Enter ye in at the strait gate
  • Follow me
  • Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
  • For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
  • For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
  • from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away
  • Get thee behind me, Satan
  • Get thee hence, Satan
  • Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine
  • Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth.
  • Give to him that asketh thee
  • give ye them to eat
  • Go.
  • Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
  • Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
  • Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. And when ye come into an house, salute it. And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
  • go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
  •  Go thy way
  • Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
  • Hear, and understand
  • Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
  • His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry. But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
  • Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
  • If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
  • if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also
  • if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
  • if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee
  • if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee
  • If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
  • Jesus rebuked the devil
  • Judge not, that ye be not judged.
  • knock
  • Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth
  • lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven
  • Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever.
  • Let them alone
  • let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay
  • Love your enemies
  • Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
  • pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you
  • Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
  • Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.
  • Repent
  • resist not evil
  • seek
  • seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness
  • See that no man know it.
  • See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded
  • Shew me the tribute money.
  • So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
  • Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
  • Stretch forth thine hand.
  • Suffer it to be so now
  • Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
  • Swear not at all
  • Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
  • Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them
  • Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me
  • Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on
  • Take therefore no thought for the morrow
  • Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
  • The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
  • Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
  • Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ. From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
  • Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
  • there is none good but one, that is, God
  • The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again.
  • They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that meaneth
  • Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets
  • Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
  • Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
  • Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.
  • Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
  • Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
  • when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth
  • when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee
  • when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret
  • when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret
  • when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are
  • when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance
  • when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them
  • Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
  • whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain
  • whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also
  • With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
  • Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
  • Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

3rd Leading Cause of Death in the U.S.

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing a report that came out regarding medical mistakes. The CDC is now stating that medical mistakes are now the 3rd leading cause of death in the U.S. Asserting that if any other industry were killing that many people the government would shut it down and the people would avoid that industry.

Pearls of Wisdom Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study from Sweden. The study used national records on 44,248 men who were in age range between 18 and 20 back in the late sixties and early seventies. Finding that those who were overweight at that time were 64% more likely to have a serious liver condition later in life.

The Challenge of Medical Fraud

The Challenge of Medical Fraud

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show today discussing medical fraud. Citing a recent report that over 300 healthcare workers have been indicted on medical fraud charges. Billing for unnecessary procedures and tests to the tune of $900 million. This included doctors, nurses, aides and pharmacists across the country using Medicare as an ATM.

Pearls of Wisdom Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article that vindicates him. The article lists several foods and herbs that help stave off and reverse Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Things like cilantro, clorella, spinach, cabbage, asparagus, ginger root, mint, parsley, turmeric, sesame seeds, almonds and garlic.
